Looks like Bill, Steve and Co. have decided to start spending some of that money that they've been storing for years, sorta like bears in hibernation…only longer. Roughly $75 billion USD worth. It makes you wonder how much they actually have on the books if they can afford to give back that much of it.
Anyway…the good news is that if your a Microsoft share holder you'll get a wopping $3 USD per share dividend. WooohOOO!!! That means if your name happens to be Bill Gates (who also happens to be Microsofts largest shareholder at 1.1billion shares) thats a windfall of just over 3 billion dollars. The good news is that Bill will be donating this money to none other then the Bill and Belinda Gates Foundation. Don'tcha just love it!
