Here's a great tip from a few weeks back that appeared in an e-mail newsletter I get from
PC Magazine. This tweak to the Windows Registry adds
two new context menu options to Windows Explorer that can save you a lot of window-opening or copy-and-paste
aggravation. After performing this tweak, you'll have two new context menu commands: "Move to Folder" and "Copy to
Folder". Apparently this stuff is built into Windows but hidden for some mysterious reason.
All applicable warnings apply - you can really foul things up touching the registry - make a backup before you start -
know where you saved that backup.
It works like a charm.
UPDATE: Ed Bott provides an explanation as to why these features are hidden and some unfortunate side effects you may encounter if you enable these two context menu options. Read his explanation before you tweak your Registry settings so you know what you're getting into. Thanks Ed! BTW, I've added you to my Blogrool - an oversight I assure you ;^)

1. I usually move files to certain folders and FileTargets is a really useful application which adds a right click context menu which can list all my most frequently used folders.
It's freeware too.
