I wonder what Robert Scoble has in mind.
There's already a lot of conjecture about what Web 2.0 company he's asking Gates and Ballmer for a blank check to
buy.
"Personal note to Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates: can I have some money to get Microsoft a significant entry into the
Web 2.0 market? A little more than it cost Yahoo to buy Flickr but far less than it cost eBay to buy Skype?
I have an acquisition I'd like to make."
tech.memorandum is, as always, tracking the discussion.
UPDATE: Scoble explains why he issued an open letter on his blog.

1. I think he wants to buy memeorandum; he seems to have them on the mind constantly these days.
