Microsoft apparently has a sense of humor
over the fact that the release date for Windows Vista is ever-changing. They’ve
released a contest for
non-U.S. people to guess the date that Windows Vista will actually be launched. It also appears to be a recruitment
tool for the Beta Experience; the only way to take part is to sign up or already be a member. It could definitely be
worth it though. The prizes for choosing the launch date correctly are as follows:
- 1st
Prize: Be live at the Launch Event in the USA: the full package with entry, flight and 3 nights in a 4-star
Hotel
- 2nd–4th. Prize: New XBOX 360
- 5th–10th
Prize: XBOX Core System
Note that to take part, you must be a legal resident of Belgium, Croatia,
Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, or
the UK and be 18 years of age or older.
