They are available on a first-come, first-served basis and when they're gone, that's it (unless and until Microsoft hands out more of course). Ryan and I have been testing it out and so far we're both pretty pleased with the new version of Messenger. We're hoping to test the video and VoIP chat modes this weekend. Ryan is working on a full review which he'll post here soon.
