Let The Vista Tweaking Begin

Vista fans, you’ll be happy to know that there is already a website on how to tweak and modify Windows Vista. I am a huge fan of tweaking and changing Windows to be better aligned with the way I work. I have used X-Setup, TweakUI and others for years, and done a lot of my own custom hacking to make my machine more stable, look and act better, connect to the internet faster, and the like. Check out TweakVista.com for info on how to customize Vista.

Hopefully Microsoft won’t be so stingy about letting users pick and change their themes in Vista. That’s one of my main complaints about XP, blue, silver and weird green is all you get. I’m hoping Vista will have the ability to create themes, or at least more than XP has. I know it’s not a big deal in terms of functionality, but it’s annoying. I am all about the look and feel of my system, it actually helps me work more happily. Then there is the issue of my gray-walled cubicle, but I doubt that will change any time soon. Maybe my cube just needs a touch of wallpaper. Hey, it works for Windows, why not cubes?
