Regarding pricing....it's important to take into account that OpenOffice.org is $0 for the Full Professional Edition, with equivalents for Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, plus a built-in PDF creator. And OpenOffice.org looks a lot like the current MS Office, so there's no need to learn the wacky new Office 2007 ribbon toolbar thing.
For anyone with limited funding, here's another opportunity to consider whether to upgrade to Office 2007, or to go with OpenOffice.org and spend the money on something else. (I recently trained a small fire and rescue organization that decided their money was better spent on OpenOffice.org than Microsoft Office upgrades....I must say I agree with their decision. ;> )

1. As long as they offer the less expensive student and teacher addition of office 2007 I'll be fine. =)
