FREE USB Drive from Microsoft

Check out the link below for a free Microsoft USB drive as part of the “Mystery Solved” campaign on corporate licensing. It's a cool looking USB drive that says Microsoft on it. All you need is to have a passport and wait 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. I suppose I should mention here that Microsoft should have not made their licensing so difficult in the first place. Call me an idealist, but I think back-tracking on something because your customers have a mystery to solve in the first place is costly and only hurts your corporate image. Enjoy the USB drive!

1. Speaking of licensing. If you install windows xp 2 times , you won't be able to install it again and activate it unless you call their hotline and speak with someone from India. I always get the new license activated so I don't know why they make you call?!!?

2. Joe, I totally agree with you, Microsoft has to figure something out for business customers. Many collegues of mine in the IT world don't like Microsoft's licensing program. It is too complicated, and isn't working. As for home installations, it is just about impossible. My big issue is that you don't receive a copy of the software when you buy your PC, so you almost have to use a bootleg copy if your hard disk fails. I think in some ways, this promotes piracy. All I want is for the everyday joe to have options if his windows installation is kaput!
